Millions of people in the developing world live their lives without access to basic financial services and products. They do not have transaction or savings accounts, do not receive credit from banks and MFIs, and remain uninsured. They seldom make or receive payments through formal channels and in many instances continue to be suspicious and fearful of financial institutions. We recognise that poverty, low levels of financial literacy, inappropriately designed products and numerous infrastructural, environmental, regulatory and cultural barriers continue to impede financial inclusion. Our five senior team members hold post graduate degrees in law, economics, financial management and actuarial science respectively and all have considerable practical industry expertise. Junior resources all hold honours degrees in actuarial science and bring valuable quantitative, actuarial, statistical and modelling skills to our projects. Where necessary, we associate with leading academic and business partners to compliment and expand our in-house skill set.

We consult to a number of private and public sector clients including: government ministries, international aid and donor agencies, central banks, commercial banks, mobile operators, insurers, microinsurers, MFIs, NGOs, philanthropic trusts, research centres and regulators.
