The NGO and development sectors are exposed to diverse risks, including life and health risks such as HIV & AIDS, as well as variety of micro-finance and micro-insurance risks. We draw on our private sector expertise and experience in these non-traditional environments to develop innovative strategies, including:
- the design and pricing of life, health and non-life insurance benefits targeted at low-income or developing markets,
- assistance in the placement and implementation of insurance options in these environments,
- advice on structuring, reinsurance and capital management, and
- training and guidance in actuarial principles for executives, managers and directors.
